I’m Lauren Zari Klein (she/her) - Chicago area native, cat mom, and a third generation hairstylist with over 8 years’ experience. I specialize in low maintenance, easy to style haircuts and natural looking, seamless lived-in color.
My approach to being your stylist is all about trust and collaboration. I want us to work together to craft a personalized strategy to achieve your ideal look, with a home haircare routine that makes sense for your life. I don’t care if you haven’t shampooed in a few days, or if it’s been a while since your last cut or color. I will never tell you where to part your hair (unless you want me to). Your comfort in my chair is my top priority; I want you to feel at ease and confident throughout the entire process, and to feel amazing when we’re done.
I love being a hairstylist and I am obsessed with my craft! I am constantly looking for new inspiration and I frequently invest in my continuing education. I genuinely love doing hair, and learning new ways to do it. I love the relationships this career allows me to build. There’s nothing better to me than bonding with my guests over shared experiences, favorite books, and pop culture references, all while helping you look and feel your best.
When I’m not in the salon you can catch me riding my bike around town, sitting on blankets outside with friends, or curled up on my couch with my cats and my husband and a good book. Have you read anything that’s destroyed you lately? Come tell me about it!
